片中所有人都知道女主爱男主，只有男主自己不知道，这反应是有多迟钝。而且男主长得不帅，个子又矮，能力一般，也不知道女主那么优秀的人看上他什么了。有声片初期的电影，还带着点儿默片的余韵。部分台词写得不错。
